Benefit Concert and Silent Auction

Stay tuned, friends!  We have really appreciated all of the support you’ve given Leah in the last year!   While the new year brings continued hope and positive thoughts for Leah’s defeat of breast cancer, it also brings continued treatments, therapies, and surgeries to manage some of the battle scars she’s endured during her battle.   The new year also brings that big old deductible and Leah is still not able to work and, as you may have read in her most recent CarePages post, she will be closing the doors of her beloved salon, Lotus Blue.

YOU CAN HELP!!

Let’s let Leah concentrate on healing her body and keep her spirits lifted.

There will be a CONCERT BENEFIT on Leah’s behalf on MARCH 7th.  Plans are currently underway, so be on the lookout for some great music and live entertainment to tantalize your eyes and ears!

Along with the benefit concert, we will be hosting a SILENT AUCTION.   We are still in the process of collecting donations and services.  If you would like to donate an item or service, please contact us and we’ll get it on the list.  We plan to list the auctioned items and services on this website so that you can see what will be up for bid.  You can them bid on these at the Benefit Concert at the Scoot Inn.  Winners will be emailed on March 8, 2008 about items they have won.

We are excited about keeping Leah healthy and happy!  Thanks for visiting and check back soon!

    Leah,
I stumbled upon this from Lorena Gomez’s FB. I remember you from Morehead… You were always so beautiful and vibrant. I know you can beat this! As soon as I am able, I will help!!! Fight, Leah! For yourself and for your beautiful lil’ boy!!!

The money was put towards the $10,000 deductible from Leah’s Health Insurance Company as she had/has continuing follow up and other medical needs related to her diagnosis and treatment.
